Ist - a small island of Zadar archipelago
The island of Ist is a small northern Dalmatian island of the Zadar archipelago, whose only settlement Ist has less than 200 inhabitants. Seen from the air, Ist resembles the shape of a butterfly, and the village in the center of the island extends to the southern port of Široka and the northern port of Kosirača.
On Ist, there are no flat blocks, no traffic, no crowds, only a real island idyll, which makes it an ideal place for those looking for a holiday in every sense.
Ist is well known among sailors, who are the most loyal guests of the island, not only because of the safety offered to them by the two ports but also because of the rich archaeological history, recognizable hill Straža and the Church of Our Lady of Health (better known as the Church of Our Lady of Snow), idyllic landscape and rich gastronomy.
